New Rock Grate

Hi Everyone. I just finished installing a new rock grate, thanks to you all for the grate (ha ha) information I found here to order it, get the bolts and screws out without much hassle, etc. I suspected a impeller blade problem when I saw a tine broken off the junk hydrosurge which I was unfortunate enough to have on my boat. I obviously need to replace it but was wondering how long I might be able to run with it like this? Ill try to post photos. The prev. owner was "less than honest" about its condition......

The new grate looks good. Now you need to send that impeller off to be reworked. Get a look at the stator veins when you pull the impeller. I bet they're scarred up too. It's always sad to see the damage a hydro-surge can do.

From the pics, I'd say impeller and wear ring both...
