Looking for some advise on replacing the impeller housing on a 2008 GTI 155. The original part was 267000269 and was made of plastic. It looks like there is a new aluminium part 267000417. Has anyone replaced their impeller housing with either the updated part or an aftermarket one? Before I buy parts and take on this project I'd like to hear from those who've done the work already.
BTW - I need to replace because the fins behind the impeller are damaged beyond repair.
