Question 2: This one prob doesnt belong here but thought I would throw it out anyway. 95 polaris 650 sl has a burnt wiring harness (2 wires are crispy)from a box saying high voltage to the front of the engine. I was told I would need a rectifier on one end and a stator on the other.(based on my description on phone) Does this sound right and what is a fair price for having this repaired? (seen these parts on e-bay for less than 200)
Question 3 what do a stator and rectifier do?
