new battary and still trouble starting(like dead battery)

i have a 1997 seadoo xp 800. its runs great but i have trouble starting it. i thought i had a bad battery becuase the starter is not enough to turn over the engine. i install a brand new battery and still same thing. the ski will start 3 or 4 times but then wont have enough juice to turn over the engine.

i replaced the voltage ruglator/clean all connections and put di eletric.

just starter going bad?

are they easy to change?

That motor eats starters for breakfast. Take it to a starter shop or get OEM.

Also be sure the wire ends are getting a good clean connection.
