just got two skis! super stoked to ge them on the water and have some fun! i have been a mechanic for the last 5 years and just gettin into watercrafts!
i have a 1990 sp and a 94 spi
both in little rough shape
i am almost done with the 90 just little ends to tie up!
so my first question is....the starter solenoid has 12v on the batt side(should be) but it has 6v on the opposite side(where the cable runs to the starter)
is that ok? i would assume that there should be no volts on the starter side until i hit the start button?
i kno my start is bad and will have it all back togehter tonight with a new one. just concerned about the solenoid.
