needle and seat

What are the symptoms of a leaky or bad needle and seat??The ski i purchased at the end of the season the previous owner said he had a hard time starting the ski after it wrmed up if the engine was shut off...he would check the plugs and they were wet wth fuel so the needle and seat need replacement....does this sound right??? I got a carb rebuild kit(x2) comin with two new needle and seats...by the way the ski is a 95 seadoo xp 720

sounds about right to me.. The needle and seat leak by and and will flood your engine and cause hard starting when warm. I am betting it is the N& S since the plugs are wet. If the plugs were dry, I would tend to think crank seals but if I were you I woul change out needle and seat......by the way just for the record....I am not a mechanic...i am a backyard tinkerer so take it with a grain of salt...good luck
