The instrument panel in my son's 2002 Sea Doo GTX Bombardier needs to be replaced. Alarm started going off and marina determined this to be the cause. Unfortunately, the part is no longer manufactured. I looked on ebay and found what looks like the right part, but the part number does not match. Is it possible it is still the right part? Is there a better place to look? The machine is in great shape so we just want to get it fixed. Many thanks! Kara

All the 2002 to 2005 4tec gauges are the same and interchangeable even though the part numbers are different and the faces are slightly different. There are a few companies repairing this style gauge.

A faulty gauge cluster will not affect performance and won't keep it from running for your year. You will get a long single beep when the key is first put on but that is it so lots of people just live without the gauge instead of spending $500 or more to replace it.

Thank you very much! I kind of wondered since he disconnected it and ran the machine without it and nothing really seemed 'off'. At the very least, I can take my time to look for something at a reasonable price.

I'm looking for one (too?) as my display is pretty much ruined as far as I can tell. I don't mind playing, but I have a hard time finding a unit - does anyone know where to get one? Preferably in Europe

(Someone before me did some weird shit to the cluster)
