My 96 Sea-Doo GTX has an error code of 4 beeps when putting the key in.This apparently indicates a temperature sensor problem? The only sensor I can find is on the top of the cylinder head. The number stamped on the part is 6C2 28000194.
The local shop can't seem to get a replacement. Any ideas on where to get a replacement or what to do?
Thanks!

If I unplug it then I still get the same 4 beeps. If I run a wire from the connector to ground then I get one long beep.

It's not a temp sender, 4 beeps means the mpem can't communicate to the cdi box. It's quite rare for that to happen unless the cdi is just not getting power.

Id prob replace the cdi since it's so easy and I do have them in stock.

I can sell you a temp sender but it's not that.
