So I have a 2012 Seadoo Rxt 260. It was fine after the winter got it ready for the summer ran it while I was cleaning it and flushing and changed the battery. The ski started before I put it in the water. After about 2 weeks of. It being able to use it went down to start it and it would not start. Thought it was the battery charged and nothing. Boosted with a booster pack and the same results. I thought maybe the starter was no good. So I changed the starter and still the same issue. It try's to start and just drags. I checked the pump and nothing is caught in it. Could the pump be bad?

I have a video of it but don't know if I can post that here. Thank you so much in advance for your help with this.

First, never jump start a Sea-Doo with a portable battery booster. Read your owner's manual; there is a very specific warning that you may damage the electronics.

Now for the basics, what "drags" exactly? From what I can tell by the video, your starter is turning then engine over, but it does sound weak. Remove the battery and get it tested. You need two pieces of information, battery voltage, and cold cranking amps. Let us know.

pull the spark plugs and crank it over. if it still drags, take the pump off and make sure it spins freely. next, take sc off and make sure it spins freely.

it sounds like you have something major dragging like you lost a bearing in the sc. has it been rebuilt lately?

So I have come up with the super charger being bad. It was full of water. No clue how. So now I have to change that and figure out how water got in there.

Your entire motor is probably full of water. You can't flush it while the engine is not running.

I do not believe the motor has water in it. Pull plugs and no water. I am coming to the conclusion that the intercooler went bad.

Anyone's thoughts.

OEM has been updated. Know problem with 2012 type IC. Is it completely fixed? Not sure but probably not. Is it better? Yes Are there better aftermarket alternatives? Yes

Sorry, my point was, do not get a used one as you will likely have the same issue. I do believe the IC has been updated as well. So if you b a new one, you should be ok.
