Hey guys,
I took my 98 GSX Limited (97 prod, white motor) out last weekend, and upon returning home and drying it out, I noticed a threaded hole with an obvious bolt missing. I also found a nut lying on the bottom of the bilge, but no bolt. It is the first legit ride I had with this machine since buying it, and I cannot say for sure it was missing before. I reached around the backside of it and there is no obvious hole or bolt falling out the other side.
I took some pics to show you where it is. I searched the parts diagrams and cannot seem to find what is suppose to be there.
This is the nut I found lying at the bottom of the bilge. Looks similar to all the nuts used on the through hull bolts, but none of them that I could see were missing.
Thanks.
P.S. Before any of you say "change the gray fuel lines &@$#@!!"... Yes, that is my top priority and will be my first project this fall/winter.
