Hi Guy's
I need some info or help. If you look at the photo's that i attached. You are looking from the intake saide of the impellor (removed intake grate).
I have a problem with cavitation when taking off or when doing a sharp turn then getting onto the throttle. I have checked carbon seal and boot all correct, i then checked wearing and impellor clearence. I have about 0.70mm clearence which is not great but it is in specification according to the manual.
When playing around i found that the drive shaft had play in it ( up down left right) When i run my ski out of water it makes a racket ( i know it is common) and the noise is this cause when you move it around it makes the same sound. So i got my camera and took a couple pics as i couldn't see to well.
My drive shaft seems to be half way out the impellor. Surely this is not normal. What i could feel i couldn't feel any movement on the empellor itself but definately on the drive shaft. Could it be to short or what.
I am really lost and i couldn't get any info from the shop manual that I have for it.
Thanks Guys
