Need a little advice

Well, I got my 99 Limited GTX with a new engine all the way down to North Carolina, on Lake Norman. I put some more grease into the PTO boot, and it appears I put too much. It started coming out of the boot.
My question is, will it hurt it to run it like that for the weekend? I am assuming it will make a little mess, but will it mess up the driveshaft and PTO.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It will be fine but you need to replace it in the future since it will lose grease and let moisture in. For the weekend you should be good to go.
