My year model

I'm new to this forum, but I was wondering if someone could tell me how to find out the year model of my ski. All I know is it's a GTI model and under the seat, it had a bar code of some kind with a date..the year said 1995, but they didn't make the GTI model that year. I'm thinking it's a '96 but not sure..it could be a '97.

find the black tag, VIN number on back of ski, last 2-digits, isthe yr.
