My Seadoo Millenium Edition is revving to high

Hi,

When I start my ski, it starts on the button and then the idle speed gets faster to just over 3000 rev's on the dials,

Is there an idle screw I can adjust? or is there a larger problem,

sounds good to me. Its supposed to rev at 3k outta water, then when dunked in lake/river, the load from water on pump, puts idle to 1500-ish.

Thanks but the ski should be running at around 1,500 revs and then when put in water should be at 800 rpm,

Any help on how to lower the idle or something that would be great as my ski is not usable at the moment and want to get out there this weekend !

yes there is an idle adjustment screw but you could also have an air leak at the intake somewhere causing it to idle to high
