My new Ski's

Hello everyone. Just got some new ski's ('98 GSX LT, '01 XP) and wanted to show them off and ask a couple questions. We have about 8 hours on each already and the GSX seems to be the favorite. I know the 97-98 XP's are highly recommended around here just wondering how the 01 compares because i don't see a lot of mention of the 2000-2001's. Secondly I know the 951 is not known the be as reliable and maybe thats the answer to my first question, but i can't seem to find any threads comparing the 800's to the 951's just wondering what the issues with the 951's are and some input on them.

I don't know why the 951's get a bad wrap. My 2000 xp has had no problems except for the grey fuel lines clogging up the carbs (those are replaced now). My buddy has a 1999 that blew the engine but that was because he let his oil tank get to low (this happened 2 weeks after I offered him some of my oil). I think its just a matter of maintaining it which is not hard in my opinion, but that applies to anything with a motor. Make sure to check your skis for the dreaded grey fuel lines and swap them out sooner than later. Oh, and your skis look great

thankyou, they both have the grey lines thats my next project which may end up being this off season project along with new grates and maybe skat-track impellers. I'm not big on top end but i would like to make them pull harder out of the hole. People seem to mention here and there about not liking the 951's but i havent seen anyone elaborate about their dislike.
