My boat wont be ready for annual Lake Piru!

I thought taking my boat in early to the shop, they would have it ready in 4 weeks, guess not, The mechanic said he is still waiting for the oil pump? the crank? and some other stuff...

Dont want to rush him, but I paid for my site already on August 6, 7 and 8.

I could go and go on somebody elses boat.. how long does it usually take to put those things back together?

I think he had other work, and I know mine was time consuming?

When your boat dies in the middle of the summer, I cant expect all the boat mechanics to be free and ready for more work, you guys are really busy right now, and taking advantage of all that extra work you guys are getting nowadays! its good for you, bad for us who need a mechanic asap..

what can I do?

just be patient and wait...
