Hey Guys I just got back from a great weekend on the Potomac River with my family and went well EXCEPT someone took my ski for a spin and ten mins later I see it being towed back to the boat. My 92 XP had water in the hull deep enuff just covering the starter motor. I walked it over to the beach pulled it on shore and drained the water out. I cranked it over it fired right up after stumbling abit it ran fine. I went to start it 5 mins later and it wud just click. no crank. I pulled the electrical box to find it Bone dry inside so I chekd power with my meter and have 12 volts where I shud as far as I know. I tapped on the solonoid while pushing the start button and nothing. I jumped the posts on the solonoid (with the fat red cables on it) and it cranked over and fired right up. Is the starter solonoid the problem or could it be something else. Is there a common problem . No click noise when I hit button total silence. Was it bad that I jumped across the posts to crank it ??? Thanks in advance for your help
