ok.. so i was going through some older posts and of course now i cant find it.. but basically i saw a guy with a red speedster and on the instrument panel where you have the bilge blower switch, the bilge pump switch, and the navigational lights switch he had another switch that had a music symbol on it.. i am interested in finding a similar switch to add into the empty location that i have and hook it up to a horn to make it look factory. i was just wondering if anyone knows where or what brand best matches our stock switches. thanks

found the pic... here is the link

OEM SeaDoo switches are made by a company called Carling. You can find them on the internet and they can match it up for you. They are like 30 bucks though.

Man, the person who has that red speedster in your example has about every upgrade you can imagine...Also, that red turf really pops!

I tried to order the red HydroTurf and was told they could not warranty that particular color because it is known to fade unlike their other colors. Too bad because it would have looked awesome.

Why do some Sea Doo boats appear to have horns while others don't? A horn is so basic why leave it out?

I'm also trying to find that horn switch, if I do I'll post the source.

Found the switch. Earlier models had a separate power switch for the audio head unit. That's why it has a musical symbol on it. It can be used for a horn with two conditions.
1). The switch is an on/off switch, not a push button. For horn use it will be a bit awkward but not a show stopper.
2). I don't know the current rating of the switch, for an audio head unit I assume it should be about 10 amps. If the horn you choose to use draws a lot of current simply use a 12 volt horn relay. These are available at marine and auto parts stores.

The BRP number for the "Stereo Switch" is: SKU: 204471116

It looks to cost about $20. You can order it at a BRP dealer or online at places like this: http://parts.perryperformancegroup.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/5/Sea-Doo.aspx

Thanks for the info... good find.. Appreciate it.. I am just trying to find out if I should grab that one or get one online that is just black with no lights but is off - mom. on which would be perfect for the horn...
