mpem's swop?

I have a 99 challenger that needs a replacement mpem, I cant find one anywhere. The dealer says seadoo does'nt make them anymore and several parts shops have told me the same. I can one for a 99 speedster that is same exact size and same connecter size(# of pins). Since my boat has twin 787's and the speedster has twin 717's will this mpem not work?

Nope... the 720 and the 800 engines have completely different ignitions.

Your best bet is to buy an aftermarket MPEM and mate it into your system.

Where can I find a aftermarket mpem, in all my searches I have not come accross one. If you could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Contact the seadoosource guy,he might know or beable to fix yours,I`ve heard of some people unpotting them and replaceing a diode.
