More often then not these either work or don’t work. Have you checked all the fuses? If you think that the MPEM is dead you might try to buy a used one from the same craft on eBay. There is little that can be done to repair them. There are a few people around that have been able to remove parts of the potting to get to the board and replace components; but it’s generally not worth it. What is pointing you in the MPEM direction? Hope this helps. Devon.:cheers:

Now that I think about it, I think there is a way you can measure the resistance on parts of the MPEM. There is a chart in the service manual that shows what the reading should be at what points. I'm not sure if this is an accurate way of testing it but you could give it a try. Devon.
