Mpem blown?

I suspect the mpem in my 1998 gsx limited 951 is blown. I started it and after about 5 seconds the ski shut off. No crank nothing. I can get it to crank jumping the solenoid. But it just cranks and there is no spark. The 5 amp fuse on my mpem is blown. I pulled the stator gray plug and put a new fuse in the mpem and it also blew. Is there a write up or someone who fixes these mpems?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The good news is there is a diode on the mpem circuit board that shorts causing the fuse to blow, it is replaceable. Check out this thread.

I'm looking for a guy that repairs these. I sent that guy an email but his site is down. Not sure if he is still doing them or not.
