Moving when idle

I finally got my idle and carbs all set to where they are supposed to be. Runs great and idles at 3000 out of the water on 1500 in the water. My question is, is it supposed to move when idling? After starting and just at idle and no throttle it will move at maybe 3mph.

Yes, that's totally normal. Your ski is like your car, but permanently stuck in "D." Some Seadoos have reverse, and you can pull the reverse lever to a point about halfway where the ski will remain virtually stationary. Unlike your car, reverse on a Seadoo isn't a separate gear. It's just a clam shell shaped hood that drops over the steering nozzle and redirects the jet's flow in the opposite direction.
