Mixing different oils...

So I'm troubled here.. I bought a used ski and I have no clue what kind of oil is in it. I just bought XP-S mineral oil for the ski and didn't know if it was okay to mix or if I should just drain the old oil out. Thanks in advance

Whats the easy to find at walmart will run fine on your ski selection these days? I was just curious, still have 3 gallons left of the sea doo stuff but have no intentions on spending that coin on oil again LOL

Academy sports has mystic most of the walmarts dont carry the right type

Keep in mind you still shouldn't mix oils even if they are approved. So if you start with the seadoo you will have to drain and change the oil filter if you switch to Mystic.

I just used xp-s mineral and drained everything out

Unless I am going a little blind in my old age, I do not see where you mention what ski you have. If you have the 580 or 720 engine you are good with the mineral for PWC oil. Newer than that you will need the full synthetic.
