I am having some problems with my 787 first the battery kept going dead so I put a new battery in and a new regulator/rectifier. But now that the battery problem has stopped i still have a problem with starting the sea doo. Sometimes i get beeps when i put the key in sometimes they're loud sometimes faint and sometimes not at all. When the seadoo starts it seems like it is ideling too low and doesn't want to idol right and it dies. A lot of times it just clicks when you go to start it and doesn't even start but if you wait a while it will start like 5 mins later. This is becoming a huge hassle because i don't like to turn the sea doo off on the water and i cant rely on it when going out onto the water but while on the water running it runs fine.

Im wondering could this be a fuel injector problem??
But why does it sometimes only click when you go to start it then other times i can crank for ever and it never turns over? A lot of the times lately (since i got the rectifier/regulator) it just cranks and never turns over

Please help me out Im new to this and im sick of dumping time into these to get nothing out.

How do i adjust the idle on the fuel injectors i think i might need to turn it up. Is this something i have to have done somewhere just to probably find its not that???

The clicking is a electrical problem. Check the battery wires and the ground -wire going to the starter area. They need to be clean and getting a good connection. That should solve your problem.

Ok ill try that to fix that but why would the sea doo not want to turn over at times and idle really low?? how can i fix that part of it?? Thanks a lot for the quick response

I just started it and it fired up first try but didnt make a single beep when i put the key into it what does this mean??

It could be a bad beeper. Put your hand over the beeper to feel any vibration...it just might not be making a sound. As for a low idle if the carbs are adjusted properly it might be they need to be pulled apart cleaned.
