I posted a while back about my GSXL with a cranking problem with no spark etc. I put another mpem in and had it programmed and now she will at least start. But now the new problem is the pto cylinder is not firing and I have a couple questions. #1 the compression is down to 120psi on that cylinder and 135 on the stator side. But in my opinion thats enough to at least fire that cylinder....agree or disagree? I know the performance may be down or whatever but my goal is to at least get this ***ch to run.
With further troubleshooting I found that there is no fuel getting to that cylinder thru the carb. I did have them off and cleaned them and they looked fine. I did not do the pop off test and that may be my problem #2 question, I am guessing that the needle is stuck on that carb causing no fuel flow, agree....disagree?
By the way, there is plenty of spark to the plug and it is dry as the desert when you pull it out....no fuel or oil on it at all.
Anybody with some quick ideas to confirm this before I pull all that crap off to get to the carbs?
I was thinking maybe some carb cleaner sprayed in that carb and see if that cylinder will pick up and fire??
As always.....any input is appreciated!
