Maybe the premium members and mods can kick out a coupla bucks to those offering -what would otherwise be free- helpful advise to questions which go unanswered by the mods and premium members?

Premium members, moderator, administrators get paid exactly what every member of this forum gets paid, NOTHING.... Maybe regular members should be the ones to kick in a few bucks.

Thanks Lou, couldn't have set it better myself. I get paid "squat" for putting in my time to help people. I do this for one reason. For every person I can help that keeps those greedy, money hungry Seadoo shops from breaking ya'lls wallet, then I've been paid a thousand fold. Premium memberships pay for the lights. Do you think running a website is free? No... A few years back, I met Joe and Greg personally. They are younger guys, college type, really out to help. In the same respect, they made a nitch for themselves. They have invested a lot of their time and hard earned money to make sure we have a place to congregate and help others out. When I met them, the forum wasn't even self supporting. They both worked in a bank to pay these bills. Sure, they might have made a few bucks along the way, but damn, they deserve it. The one thing that makes us better than the rest, besides having the largest "Seadoo" specific forum membership is the members. You don't find people in here cursing or calling someone stupid. There is no such thing as a stupid question. People who come here just bought the Ski/Boat, they might not even know where the battery is, but that doesn't make them stupid. And "red2blue", maybe you should look for your answers instead of waiting for someone to feed it to you with a spoon. I have contributed enough information to this forum, that anyone who can read can rebuild their entire engine. The information is here, you just got to be willing to read and understand it....:rant:

Sorry to get on my soap box, people that come in here with that kinda crap, after so many people have worked their butts off to make this a great place, really get my blood pressure worked up. Thanks for comments to this thread Seadoo Lou

I hate to say it, but Seadoo Lou is right. The thread the user started is not allowed. The infraction for this is to be banned. I should take care of that now. I really hate it, but I haven't been here since 2007, to listen to a whiner like that.:hat:

The membership isn't about answering your questions. The membership is not about your manuals. The membership is about one on one contact with a member if they need it. Membership is about access to videos that I've posted to instruct them how to repair things. The membership is about their willingness to support a worthwhile effort. Anyone can find an answer to their query here. I know, personally I have posted an answer to the same questions no fewer than 5 times. And that would be to answer everything that you could think of to build a Rotax motor. So, please, become informed before you decide to make accusations about people that just aren't true. If you want to spout off, at least say it's in "your opinion". That way, you won't have people take out their rant on you. I have almost 10,000 posts and I think this is only my 3 or 4 rant, since 2007. So, call me a jerk if you will. But, I don't appreciate people like you stepping all over the people who have done so much to help so many. PLease, if you feel the need to spout, feel free to send me a PM, where I can actually speak my mind.
