First I like to thank how ever put the post on how to repair your fuel gauge sending unit. It was a blown fuse inside the baffle. Now the gauge works. But the low oil light stays on. I did the test for the sending unit and it passed. I don't need the light I can check the oil my self. So I tried to disconnect the light at the gauge. There is a four wire connector and a two wire connector The four wire is from the sending unit for fuel and oil, the two wire is ground and power. The only one I can get the light off is to disconnect the power or ground then I loose my fuel gauge. So my thought is the light circuit in the gauge is bad. So do I need a new gauge? (part# 28001103 if you have one)
