lost top speed

I sucked up a rock and it sounded like plastic gears grinding. After re-starting had bad cavitation out of the hole and top speed of 54 (should run 62ish). This is a 2004 SC GTX limited, rpms are good 7200 but sounds like it is cavitating at wide open. I replaced the wear ring but still 54 is top speed and cavitates out of the hole and at WOT. Could it be a bad prop or the carbon seal?

I'm guessing you bent the impeller up. If you changed the wear ring though, you should have noticed some major damage if it effected you that much.
