You need to first post your model and year in your avatar so we can help in the future when we know which seadoo you own. As for the lanyard, if it has a DESS( Digital Electronic Control Module), you will need to get a replacement lanyard and have it programed to the mpem in the seadoo by a local dealer.

To add to what Karl said, you will most likely have to take registration paperwork for your seadoo to the dealer as well so that you may prove ownership. They will not just program a key for anyone who walks in to their shop unless they can prove that they own it, for obvious reasons.
