I'm looking at a 96 Bombardier SP. It has a new engine, new exhaust and rebuilt carb and new trailer. It needs a mpep. They want 950.00 for it. Cosmetically its in ok condition, may need a new seat. Is it worth it?
With a bad mpem it is gonne be hard to test the new parts on the water, can you see a lot of fingerprints and sealer ozzing from the seams? How about receipts? Read a little here - http://www.seadooforum.com/showthread.php?t=26009&highlight=mizzie <-- and check the compression to see it is over 140, if you have already got a machine like it transplant your mpem and begin to get this one running.

I would not mess with this ski. Vodoo has many valid points but unless your willing to take a chance, there is no way of knowing what the true condition of this ski is. You can do the compression test by jumping the solenoid but for $900 bucks, it's not worth it. You could get a ski for $1200 that runs..
If buy chance, it's just the mpem out, then your looking at another $400 bucks or so, then taking it in for a programming....
