Maybe we can find the check valve, we just ran into that a couple months ago and one from a Walbro fit but we didn't specify which Walbro it was from.:

I actually purchased the china carb that he specified (wont get in for a few weeks at least). I also bought one of the check valves with the square stem and there is NO way that sucker will fit. I have been on the hunt for a while for a usable check valve, but I am glad I am not the only one. I have even contacted some valve manufacturers about having some made. There is one company that will make them (minimum 10) at a price of 4.80 a piece plus shipping from Japan...

Someone beat mikidymac with a sense stick! 
Not sure if this one from an Autolite Ford carb will work or if it's the same as the Holley that didn't work. There are a lot of different sizes of those so it'd be nice to nail this one down for the future...

Other small engines use those divorced primer bulbs, these have an umbrella inside them too.

Contacted the carb parts website to see if they have anything that will work.
I have one of the trimmer bulb check valves, but it has a large square duckbill style stem that I semi-mangled trying to install.
Called twice, they were surprisingly un-helpful. The lady I reached when I pressed "1" for the carb division first forwarded me to a supplier that couldn't find the part on a diagram and therefore couldn't supply it. The second time I asked for technical help and got forwarded to a guy's office phone and left a message.
