Looking for my first boat?

I am new to boating and thinking about buying a 2005 speedster 200 310hp. Is this boat to big for a beginner?

I think thats a great boat for anyone. LOVE the 310hp power package. Plenty of power yet no superchargers to fret over.

Take a safe boating course and enjoy the experience.

dont no your budget or the price of that boat, but seadoo just put out a 21ft challenger w/ same engine package.

Thanks for the input. I'm trying to stay around $20,000-$23,000 for a good use boat. I plan on using the boat for tubing and cruising around on the east coast. The boat I’m looking at is a 2005 200 speedster 370hp. It has about 100 hours on it. They are asking $17,000 for it.
Like I said I’m new to boating. I guess I'm trying buy I boat like I would a motorcycle. I have been riding bikes for years. Every once in a while I see a beginner rider buy the biggest bike that they can afford and within a week of riding he or she will most likely crash due to lack of experience. I don't want to be that newbie.
