went for a ride in a little bit of chop today. when I got back home to wash out I noticed after I hosed down there was a little bit of water in the hull maybe about 3 liters if I had to take a guess. Is this normal? I did notice there was some water flowing over the back panels and those seals on those two panels don't seem to seal all that well..

Based on the information given, it would be hard to truly know if there is an issue or not.
I see nothing wrong with getting 3 liters of water in a hull of a boat as a result of washing it down.

However, if water is coming in from the shaft seal or another source, that is another story.

It is always a good idea to remove your transom drain plug(s) every time you pull the boat out of the water.
If you didn't take on any water, then you know it is getting in some other way.
You could also check the door seal around the floor storage compartment; if water gets in the storage compartment, it will drain into the hull.

If you saw water on your deck, then I would expect water to be in the hull. The deck plates are water resistant at best, not water proof.

Thanks for the reply. The plugs come out for the drive home once it's out of the water. I had to tilt the bow up while it was on the trailer to get this water out and the water coming out was hot (if that makes a difference).Im going to replace the deck plate seals today and see if that makes a difference. I've always seen them stay dry for the most part but I don't always have a passenger also... This time I did.

Took it out for another run with better seals on those rear deck panels and seems like that did the trick. Had some cavitation out on the bay next weekend project is to check out that wear ring.
