OK guys, what gives? I have been wondering what the deal is. I mean is this some sort of national riding club? All I have ever seen of it is spiked hair Cali kids selling cloths and koozies. I google it and it tells me one of the skate punks just got some"hot hub action"? What are you fine Seadoo riders/owners representing and why?

The kicker for me was seeing the sticker on Lou's otherwise clean and minty GSX...............please explain.

I think it started as a stand-up ski stunt teem. But now, they are diversifying, and they seem to do more marketing. It's kind of like Fox Racing motocross stuff. They were a small company who grew, but became popular, and eventually, they had t-shirts and hats at places like wal-mart and sears.

I don't know, I got a couple of stickers from Nick with a parts order, I thought they looked cool on the GSX. Makes people ask WTF.

the person to ask is Nick aka Minnetonka4me. It could be mostly just "Water Warriors". Riders who like to tear up the seas.....Just my guess.

It seems like Nick has got his own club(TC Jetriders or something?) but I still see him rock the Militia stickers too. Hes probably out riding right now like I need to get my lazy but up and do. Thanks for the thoughts guys.

Hi Matt,

I'm the VP of operations at Liquid Militia Clothing. And I ran across this thread while I was doing some google checking on our brand. So I figured I would sign up and correct everyone on what is Liquid Militia? as we too get asked this all the time. So to make a long story short here we go. Liquid Militia was Founded by Paul Schulte out of Santa Barbara CA. The idea came up late at night in 2004. Paul is a avid Surfer not professional just loves surfing and has been doing it all his life. He came up with the name Liquid Militia and if the domain name was available he thought he would start a clothing brand around what we loves to do which is surfing. The domain name was available so that's when Liquid Militia started. Paul did a good run of basics like Hoodies, T-shirts, rashguards, hat's, stickers and patches. Not long after kicking off the brand he hooked up with Shawn Alladio who's background revolves around the Watercraft World. They partnered up and Shawn helped take Liquid Miltiia to another level in the Watercraft Scene. We then started slowly picking up riders who represented the Liquid Miltiia Lifestyle and since then we have had a slow growth. We mainly do T-shirts, Hats's, girls tee's, Hoodies, koozies, stickers, boardshorts, rashguards, the basic goods. We do all our own designs and screen printing of the designs at our shop in Santa Ana, Ca.

Nick Carns is a friend of ours he's super cool guy's always supported us, so we send him extra stickers and stuff to give out to who ever he wants. So if you get parts or whatever from him he's just trying to help support us by helping us spread the word about Liquid Militia.

To the other comment about us being in Wal-Mart or Sears NO FRIGGING WAY!! LOL You might be thinking about another brand. As long as i'm apart of this company you will never see our brand in Wal-Mart or sears or any store like them. We do not want our brand in any store like that. We are keeping it real and want our brand in core supportive dealer/shops/retail stores.

so the bottom line we are just a clothing brand, we love what we do, and we do just about everything ourselves. We sponsor riders in Surfing/Watercraft/Kiteboard/Music. And that's about it. We are not an official club or anything but fans and supported are super supportive and back us up and rep the heck out of us. We just love what we do and want to hopfully continue doing it for many years to come.

This is our web site if anyone wants to check it out, everythign pretty much explains it's self once you check us out:
http://www.liquidmilitia.com/

I can't say why people rep us, I personally think they like what we are doing, they like our products, they like the name, and they like to be apart of something that is still kind of underground. But IDK I too would like to know why people dig us?? lol

I hope this clarifies some things. I'll be happy to answer any other questions just thought I would set the record straight.

Thanks, ~Kyla

I think there stickers are slick so I stuck a small one I got from Nick on the back of my XP. When my the carbon fiber hood I bought out of Cali made it to KY with Liquid Militia on the front I couldn't bring myself to take it off.

thanks for a great post, and i'm glad your keeping it real vs. going mass like salt.life (it still always looks like slut life at a quick glance) bash them if you want but they are making bank :)

anways i have a few of your stickers as well, although i'll admit that twice i've cut out the wave part and just kept the words, i've used LM sticker on at least 5 ski's over the past couple of yrs, this post will inspire me to pick up an order for a couple classic blacks, i'm overdue and my blacktip t-shirt is getting faded.

i think i've even seen your license plate installed upside down before as well, with the stand up right side up and the words upside down.

and yes nick supports LM, he's sent me LM sticker's at least 3 times when he sends me an order.
