Learning Key

Hello,

We have a 2015 wake edition 155 up at out cottage for the weekend. The owner lost the main key. They only have the learning key, is there a way to over ride the learning key so the the pwc performs normally?

if i remember right i think you can program it to act differently but not full power like a normal key, i also think if you had a candoo or budds, it may be programed as a normal key rather than a learn key but someone may chime in and clarify.

All Sea Doo keys have the same chip in them, and can be programmed in the ECU as any function, Normal, Learning, or Rental. Only the colors are different so you know what it is supposed to be.

If a key is already programmed in the ECU as a Learning key, then the only way to change it to a Normal key is to use Candoopro or BUDS to delete it, then program it back as a Normal key.
