lake economies taking a beating

with the lake levels being so low in texas...

last week when I was up at the lake I noticed that the boating dealerships are not pulling their boats out front to display them. The jetski repair places all had just 4x4 out front instead of jetskis. Yesterday my wife went by there and I called her to pick up some food. I was too lazy to cook on my day off and so I wanted her to pick up something and a couple bar-b-que placed were closed when they should be open. Im normally up there every week but now I only go if I need to.

The gas price up there is equal to what it is in Houston. Normally its a lot higher!

Supply and Demand......

.....no water = no people=no need for lunch/dinner out=closed biz....what a shame

hope you guys get lots of rain/snow this wintertime.....I know snow is a little far fetched but maybe you'll catch some run off from the northern states.
