Hi my name is Brian I just foot a 1995 seadoo speedster but having problems already if anyone can help it would be great one motor runs out good the other at 4500 rpms it's like a slipping clutch or a slipping tranny feeling it revs out but nothing happens

Welcome to the forum.
I can't help you with boats but some one will chime in soon.

What is "foot" a 1995........

Yeah I checked the wear ring it had chunks missing do you think that's the problem and is it best to get it from seadoo or where

Brian, yes that definitely would be the problem. It is a fairly easy fix for you to do yourself. Just depends on how fast you want it and if there is a dealer near you. In addition there are lots of places online where you can order them. When you have it apart it will be good to change the gear oil too.

PittBR, the wear ring is your problem. Since one engine was running good it wasn't as noticeable as in a ski w/ only 1 engine and pump.
On the home page scroll down to the "how to" section, there a very good thread on how to change the wear ring, pump oil too.

How are both of your impellers?

Welcome.,

I am just saying Hi back...but clueless about these mechanical things., so don't take my not chiming in as a snub. LOL.,

I see you have already checked it out and found your problem. Sea Doo parts seem to be the way to go on this. SBT also sells wear rings but from what I've heard they dont have the lip on them which makes it harder to position it. Easy do it yourself project. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
