Just got my hours checked at the dealer...

And it came up as my new to me ski having 30 hours on it, now the guy I bought it from said the motor was replaced a few years ago (and it looks like it) at a dealer due to his kid flipping it and not turning it over correctly which popped the motor, my question is can the dealer "reset" the hours after a motor change? The ski is in exc shape, no fade on the plastics but the seat was cracked/faded and the bottom of the hull looks like it was beached a lot.
