Hi all,

Some of you know that I did a restoration on a 90 Si. I finally had a nice day to take it out. So, I packed up the wife and kid, and we went out to play for a while.

My little girl likes the Ski... but she was a little apprehensive when I asked her if she wanted to go for a ride. After a couple minutes... she decided to just drive the boat.

A good time was had by all.

Just thought I would share a couple pics, and a quick vid.

I love the yellow on your si so that's pretty much the same ski as mine correct i take it yours would have the bigger motor? how old is your daughter mine is 4 I got her a life jacket the other day we plan on going to the beach. I want your yellow handle and front cover !

just a month ago, you posted a pic of SNOW, outside your porch......good times.

Thanks for the nice words guys...

Star_burst... My little girl just turned 4 last Monday. I take the boat out to the middle of the lake, and let her have at it. She just mashes the throttle to full, and cranks the wheel back and forth. (makes the wife sick)

Yes, the early skis were basically the same other than colors. (same engine as your ski) The Si was the only model to have a yellow hood. But, they only made them for half a year, and most people don't even know they exist. (it will be hard to find a yellow hood) As far as the bar pad. Keith at SeaDooupholstery.com made it for me. I think he's charging about $30 shipped for it !!!! (cheap) He is a member here, and I think his name was KRC357. (I'll look it up) He can get you a seat cover, and strap too if you need it.

Seadooya... Yup... in PA it goes from 40" of snow to 85 degree weather in about a 6 week time period. We are right where the jet stream shifts, so literally, one day can be 85, and the next can be 45 during the spring time. (crazy weather here)
