Jump-started 1998 Seadoo GTX Limited and is now bricked

Hello, Last summer in September I was going to take my ski out of the water for the year (I have it on a ramp for the summer), and the battery was dead. I used a high power lithium-ion jump pack on it and it started for about 30 seconds then shut off and never turned back on.
Upon inspection the 15 amp fuse blew so I replaced it to no avail. I stored it for the winter and started working on it again this summer. I assumed it was the MPEM so I bought an aftermarket unit from Arieltek, but the quality was so bad I couldn't even fit the connectors in due to how bent they where and it was also covered in glue, so I sent it back.
Due to the fact that the used MPEMs on eBay come with no returns and no warranty, I wanted to troubleshoot that the issue is in fact the MPEM. I tested the red/purple? wire for power on the MPEM connector and was getting an oscillating 0.5v where I would have expected 12v so that is a little concerning.

Any tips for what I should do / try next? Should I just buy the new MPEM?

All help is extremely appreciated, Thank you!

More than likely the MPEM, that is why we tell everyone to never jump start these and Seadoo even installed a sticker that says, "DO NOT BOOST BATTERY".
Can't say that is 100% your issue but 99% sure.
Westside will also test your MPEM.

Thanks for the tip, I realized this too late unfortunately.

I will go down the route of buying a new one / sending mine in for testing via Westside Powersports.

Thank you very much for the help, I will update if this does not fix the issue.

Alright I just bought a MPEM from Westside Powersports, it was $395. According to their website, they mostly don't accept returns and if they do they charge a $150 fee. Regardless hopefully they end up being more forgiving then an eBay seller in the case it doesn't solve my issue.

(BTW your profile picture is incredible)

At least they are honest and guarantee the parts.

Thanks for the complement one of the members here was an aspiring graphic artist and made if for me. The Noid is on my paper towel dispenser in the garage and he saw it on one of my build threads.
