Jet pump rebuild torque vs axial play

I rebuilt my jet pump put all new bearings in the seadoo manual says torque to 85 ftpnd then it also says make sure thrust bearing isnt squeezed too hard .nake sure there is axial play
When i torque to 85 its tight AF and there is no axial play at all only when its lose enough for me to spin it with my fingers i get axial play

Also wtf is 518 loctite around o ring can i use something else ?

I responded to your PM but yes, your bearing is probably pinched.

The 518 is a red flange sealant and is stocked at any NAPA parts store.

I checked and its not pinched i dont know what to do .everything seems fine but there iz zero play if i torque it and turns but very hard

Are you sure you set the bearing and seal depth exactly per the manual's specs?

They shudnt be in the way its the washer thust bearing and the impeller
