hey guys this is my first time going to be putting it back on this weekend, is there anything i should look out for or anything, i am really not wanting to back it in the water and see water pooring in my hull lol its a 96 xp and just would like some advice from anyone who has done it before i am going to see if my dealer has one of those foam rings, and if not i will probally just use silicone

Just to get you started.....

1) New Neoprene seal
2) a little RTV around the hose stems
3) If you need a new carbon seal, or any of the driveshaft seal parts, this is a good time to change them.
4) Dont forget to put a zip tie on the boot on the PTO. (grease will go everywhere)
5) make sure the bump stops are in the ends of the drive shaft
6) Make sure the "Cone" is in the impeller
7) grease the ends of the driveshaft
8) Don't forget to hook up the cooling hoses inside.
9) Take your time. Nothing should need force to install it.

awome thanks for all your help, so just the rtv will be fine and no need of any other silicone? I will double check that oring on the driveshaft but it looked great when i pulled it off, should i grease it up a bit too though..
