I just had some damage similar to this. It was $370 to repair the fiberglass and gelcoat.

Did yours have about a 3 foot long scrape going down the left side of the hull? Because mine does along with that deep gash into the fiberglass. Not trying to be rude in any way, I'm glad yours was so inexpensive to fix.

No, mine was more of a deep gorge right at the bow eye from having the trailer too far in the water and coming in too hot. Just trying to give some perspective & relativity.

Yea mine hit the corner of the trailer just above the tail light and the proceeded to skip over the same part with the left side of the hull. That's when I jumped in the water and grabbed it before it spun around and hit the concrete with the ride plate. Close call there too

Just got it back from the dealer. They fixed the shit out of it!!! Not only did they re-spray the entire bottom they also fixed a few other scratches and dings in the footwells and hood. Replaced all stickers that had any scuffs on them. This thing looks like a brand new ski now. Nobody gets to ride it from this day on!!!!!

Sounds like they did a great job then! Kuddos! Enjoy the rest of your summer now, enjoy it more work on it less ok? LOL!

That's the plan. And for next season I think I'll sell it and buy a Speedster 150.

Really? Why?

This latest fu-par wasn't the RXT's fault, and it's looking good as a dealer showroom model now... I don't understand the problem. :-(

Of course I have a jetboat and an RXT so I already have the best of both worlds if I just had a girlfriend or two now to take to the lake with me... where can I get one or two of those? :-\

I gotta tell ya, everybody I've ever asked about them says the SeaDoo Speedster boats are very rough... they bob like a cork in less than ideal water conditions and beat you to death at cruising speed. At 15.4 feet they're pretty short for a jet boat. :-(

You may be right. I'm not completely set on it yet, I have an appointment in a couple of weeks for a test drive with the seadoo demo tour. I have nothing against the RXT I just want something that a little bigger but not much bigger due to lack of storage space. I'm not even sure if I want the 155 or the 255 for an extra $3500. Or maybe I'll just keep my RXT for a few more years who knows lol

Every ounce of damage on my skis is from a guest rider. So, I no longer let them dock and what not.

I put my foot in their foot-well and have them put theirs in mine. I start my ski and either pull away from the doc or take them to the dock.

Life is MUCH better now...

Agreed. After this my friends know not to ask me to borrow it or ride it since my answer will be a firm hell no
