Intercooler issues

Hi,

Just wondering how common are intercooler leaks with s/c seadoo's ?

Got a 2014 RXT-X aS 260 with only 21hrs that has a leaking intercooler.

Have to get fixed, but hoping its not a problem that keeps reoccurring.

Very common especially in salt water. There is an updated OEM version but not proven yet that it is any better. After market is better.

The updated part is suppose to solve the issue. It's just that it is so new it really isn't known if the issue comes back. That said, if you get the updated part I would think there is a built in liability on behalf of Seadoo.
