Ok so I posted a thread the other day about my intake grate issuse and not being able to secure it in place due to no threads, now what I want to do is just expoxy the darn thing in there and call it a day. I have no intrest to ever want to take it off nor Iam I gona upgrade it at all. My question is if I cant ever get it off again will that be a issue I dont think you need it off to get to anything else. I have a 1997 seadoo XP, thanks.

In the hull, you will see the silicone mound that holds the nut in place. OR you could
drill new holes, counter-sink them, and use sealant and new stainless screws. I am
thinking you already tried getting the broken out by first dremeling flat, center punch then LH drilling them out? Bills86e

well ok so what I did is cleaned out the holes and used epoxy water proof expoxy held like concret took it out yesterday and it came out lol, so Iam gona drill new holes now, can you take that hole plate off and drill through the plate I couldnt tell.

yeah I have the screws and know where the holes are but no thread in there to hold the grate on except the one hex screw so the other ones Iam gona have to drill.

Check the approximate location in the hull. We wouldn't want to hear Ya drilled thru
the engine water supply hose or into a bilge pump, Ha Ha. Bills86e

yeah very true Iam gona take the hole plate off the back and see how much space I have to play with, I will let you know how it goes.
