Hello everyone!

I am new to this forum but already found tons of use full info.

I have a 98 GTS with a single carb. The carb is shot and came upon a 98 GTI with a working Dual carb, wondering if it was possible to put the dual carb on my GTS. Wondering if it will bolt right on or if I need to run different fuel lines etc.

Looking forward to any help anyone can give me!

Sure... you can swap carbs... it's not a big deal as long as the jetting is right.

BUT... both the 98 GTS and the 98 GTI have a single carb 720 engine. Are you sure about the year/model of the dual carbs??

Even if it's not the proper carbs... once you get them, we can help you with the jetting.

it'll work, but you'll need to use the rv cover, for it to use the dual set-up. As long as those carbs camefrom a 720 motor, then no jetting required, and also, no extra fuel line required either.

I am unsure of the year of the GTI but I am sure it is a 720 engine. I will likely get at it this weekend so I will let you know how it works and if any jetting is required. Thanks for your expertise!
