Install rubber boot (VTS)

I have removed my vts, and installed the replacement components and all that fun stuff, but my question now is, how do I install that rubber boot? I don't really understand how it works or anything, so if somebody could explain that would be wonderful

If you are talking about the corrugated boot for the output shaft... you have to put it on, once the VTS unit is mounted. It just mounts with 2 clamps... and it keeps the water out of the VTS motor.
