Ok I have a 2005 GTX Supercharged. I have not ran it in a couple of years. Last time I ran it, it wasn't getting full power. So I thought i would bring this ski back to life. I installed a new battery, new plugs, new ignition coils, and had the injectors cleaned and tested. Drained out old fuel and put new fuel in it. I got it started but was back firing. I found out it was only firing only 2 cylinders. injector one (the 1st one on the fuel rail closest to the fuel line) Is throwing out a large amount of fuel into the cylinder. At first i thought I had a bad injector. but i swapped it out with injector 2 and it works fine there. When you first put the key in the fuel pump primes the lines when that happens injector 1 is throwing a lots of fuel while injectors 2 and 3 work fine. When trying to start, injector 1 is still throwing out lots fuel. So i see what the problem is but don't know whats causing it to happen. Any ideas what would be causing this and what i can check on next?

I tend to agree. If the issue does not move with the injector then the input to the injector is likely wrong.

Yea thats what im thinking, bad ECU. Just trying to get a second opinion before making the jump on that pricey part

Check ebay for a used one. I can get an oem one but they aren't cheap let me know if you decide on oem. I can likely give 10% off..

I have not been able to find a used one that is the exact part that matches up with my part number.
closest thing i found was an 04 gtx supercharged but part number is different that the 05'
