Impeller wake

I got a 230 wake and was checking parts# to find that the impeller got to # one for the left and one the right WHY.

do they rotate in opposite directions? prop boats i had always spun differently with twin engines

No same motor everything is the same it s the first time that i notice 2 differante impeller on a sea doo boat.

apparently this isnt important enough for sea doo to advertise

usually when there are two motors on a boat they counter rotate to alleviate the torque steer condition that happens when a single screw is putting pressure on your hand on the wheel to turn against the desire of the boat to turn right...

the yamaha and others advertise counter-rotation motors so siince no one has answered...i can only assume this is the reason.

i checked the parts explosions like you did but i am not sure

i have too little cred here to tell you for sure
