Impeller tool

Is this the only specialty tool i need to install a swirl impeller?

I found one on ebay it's listed as the following "SEADOO SEA DOO RXP RXT GTX LIMITED IMPELLER PROP TOOL"

I have asked the seller if it will work with my 97 Challenger but no reply. Does anyone know if this will work?

I cannot get it to pull up, but I typed in Impeller Tool on ebay and several of them popped up for $10-15.

Oh, i copied the item number over. It looks different, and states for 2005 model. I think they are different between 2-stroke and 4-stroke models.

And since I am now taking over the thread...

I tried to buy one of these from the local seadoo dealer/repair guys, and he wanted $80 BUCKS for it.

I guess they want to make the job look harder and more expensive than it really is so I would bring it in for them to fix.

Go for one that looks like the shorter first one. That is what I used on my 96 XP and 97 Challenger.

I think the number of splines changes when they go to 4-stroke.

Your link doesn't work.
The tool for the 4 stroke machines (as you listed) will not work for you.

Ohhhhhhhhh! Yes the link worked. I should have taken the time to read your posts carefully before ordering! HA well now i have a tool if i get a new Seadoo! :stupid:
